At Toolspot, we believe your data belongs to you. For our core utility suite (Docs Spot and Media Spot), we employ a strict No Data Retention policy.
- PDF Tools: All processing happens in your browser using WASM technology. Your files never touch our servers.
- Downloaders: We do not log the URLs you download or store any history of your media activity.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services and improve user experience:
Email Tracker & Verifier
To provide these services, we store metadata such as the recipient's email address and open timestamps. We never read the content of your emails. This data is encrypted and stored securely via Appwrite.
Technical Logs
Our servers automatically collect basic logs (IP address, browser type) to prevent abuse and diagnose technical issues. This data is automatically deleted after 30 days.
2. Use of Cookies
Toolspot uses essential cookies to maintain your session preferences (like Dark Mode) and anonymous analytics to understand how our site is used. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We utilize trusted third-party services to power part of our infrastructure:
